LEADERSHIP SEACOAST ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAM YEAR SPONSOR
McLane Law Firm Donates $1,000 to Non-Profit Program
PORTSMOUTH, NH – January 30, 2014 – Leadership Seacoast, a non-profit organization that develops informed and active community leaders, received a commitment of $1,000 from McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association. The generous leadership level-donation will be used to support Leadership Seacoast’s 2014 program year.
For more than 25 years, Leadership Seacoast has been instrumental in bringing awareness to some of the key issues affecting the region by developing a base of knowledgeable and active citizens through participation in its educative and experiential program. During the course of six months, participants hear from experts in a variety of fields from politics to the environment and come to understand the causal relationships connecting these diverse topics.
Founded in 1919, New Hampshire-based McLane is guided by the principle that attorneys should be active participants in their community and professional organizations. Several of the firm’s lawyers have gone through Leadership Seacoasts’ experiential program and volunteered their time and talent on Leadership Seacoast committees even serving as board members.
“We are extremely honored and thankful to welcome McLane as a new program year sponsor,” said Jennifer Wheeler, Executive Director of Leadership Seacoast. “I am continually impressed by the many ways the McLane Professional Association demonstrates its commitment to building the communities of the Seacoast.”
Thanks to the financial support of local businesses such as McLane, Leadership Seacoast is able to provide a meaningful experience for every participant and to create additional volunteer opportunities for alumni throughout the community.
